The judicial police investigators from the Agadir police prefecture made a significant breakthrough in combating drug-related crimes by arresting three suspects on the evening of November 3rd. These individuals, aged between 29 and 37, were captured during an operation based on precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST). The arrests took place in a neighborhood of Agadir, where the suspects were caught in the act of possessing and trafficking narcotics.
Seizures and Ongoing Investigation
During the operation, law enforcement officials discovered an impressive cache of illegal substances in the suspects' possession, including 4,600 ecstasy tablets and 307 grams of cocaine. Additionally, the police seized a sum of money believed to be derived from the proceeds of their criminal activities. The thorough search also led detectives to uncover a collection of bottles and instruments suspected to be used for the preparation and consumption of 'bouffa,' a cocaine derivative. Furthermore, a motorcycle was confiscated, which is suspected to have been used to facilitate these criminal acts.
The three individuals are currently in police custody as investigations continue under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office.
