Arsène et les Pipelettes: A New Chapter in Paris and Beyond
Founded in 2005 by Chloé de Bailliencourt, Arsène et les Pipelettes has established itself as a beloved brand specializing in collections for babies and children. The brand's evolution took an exciting turn with the introduction of their women's line, a.p, which was born from a collaboration with an influencer. This new line not only embodies the spontaneity and freshness synonymous with the brand but has also become a significant contributor to its success, now representing 50% of total sales. The brand reported a remarkable 25% increase in sales for 2026, highlighting its positive trajectory.
Looking ahead, Arsène et les Pipelettes is gearing up for the grand opening of a new boutique in the prestigious VI arrondissement of Paris, slated for early 2027. This addition will complement their existing locations in the XVII and XVIII arrondissements, as well as their six boutiques in the South-West of France. The brand is also strengthening its distribution network, which includes over 450 retailers across France and the United States, and extends to Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal.
International Growth and Brand Evolution
As the brand accelerates the international expansion of its women's line, Chloé de Bailliencourt has announced the introduction of new sales agents in Belgium and the United Kingdom. To bolster this growth, Julia Tournesac-Bourgeois has been appointed as the new commercial director, tasked with enhancing the existing network and exploring new markets.
The upcoming Paris location will showcase a new boutique concept, designed to distinctly highlight the three universes of the brand: baby, children, and women. This innovative approach aims to create unique atmospheres for each collection, particularly for the women's line, which is expected to make significant strides in the winter of 2027. Key pieces such as t-shirts and sweatshirts will be complemented by wool garments, parkas, and blouses that have consistently received positive feedback.
In its commitment to sustainability, Arsène et les Pipelettes sources 70% of its collections from Portugal, mainly using organic cotton fabrics. To further adapt to the changing market and customer demographics, the brand is also revamping its overall image. This includes updates to packaging to enhance customer loyalty and a redesign of its website and e-commerce platform, which currently represents 10% of the total revenue and has seen a 20% growth.
As part of this ongoing evolution, the brand is transitioning to Shopify, aiming for a more cohesive experience between its online and physical stores. Currently based in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Arsène et les Pipelettes employs 30 staff members, with 15 working at its headquarters in the Jalday artisan zone. This strategic growth and commitment to quality position Arsène et les Pipelettes as a dynamic player in the fashion industry, poised for even greater success on the international stage.
