M-AUTOMOTIV Unveils New GAC Showroom in Casablanca, Morocco - A Step Towards Expanding Automotive Presence

Expansion of GAC's Presence in Morocco with New Showroom in Casablanca

M-AUTOMOTIV, the exclusive importer and distributor of GAC in Morocco, has recently announced the opening of a new showroom located in Bandoeng, Casablanca. This strategic move aims to further solidify GAC's footprint in the Moroccan market, which already features six models. The showroom's inauguration is part of M-AUTOMOTIV's broader strategy to establish GAC as a leading automotive brand in the Kingdom, leveraging their extensive distribution expertise, knowledge of the local market, and a robust commercial and after-sales service framework. This comprehensive support extends from the initial vehicle discovery through to post-purchase assistance, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

Commitment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction

The new showroom is designed to be a space where visitors can immerse themselves in the GAC brand and its vehicle lineup. Customers will receive personalized advice and support from the distributor's dedicated teams, reinforcing M-AUTOMOTIV's commitment to providing an 'accessible and coherent' network of services that align with Moroccan market expectations. According to Souhail Houmaini, General Director of M-AUTOMOTIV, "The inauguration of this new showroom in Bandoeng illustrates our determination to accelerate the brand's deployment and build a sustainable national presence." He emphasized that their ambitions extend beyond mere vehicle sales, focusing on delivering a comprehensive experience that prioritizes product quality, excellent service, and fostering long-term trust with customers.

It is noteworthy that GAC, M-AUTOMOTIV’s partner, is recognized as one of the leading automotive groups in China. The brand has been listed in the Fortune Global 500 for 14 consecutive years and is known for its commitment to quality, manufacturing, and innovation. GAC’s international strategy, termed “One GAC,” aims to provide high-quality vehicles equipped with advanced technologies and new driving experiences. This strategy has recently gained visibility through its partnership with Chelsea Football Club as their official automotive partner.

Since its market entry, GAC has progressively expanded its product offerings to cover various segments and applications. Currently, the lineup includes six models: the EMZOOM, EMKOO, S7, GN8, HYPTEC HT, and HYPTEC Hyper SSR. GAC places a strong emphasis on service and customer satisfaction, adhering to the principle of "Service First, Customer First." This philosophy extends throughout the entire vehicle ownership experience, encapsulated in their global service brand, GAC Care Plus, which was introduced at the recent Paris Motor Show. GAC Care Plus is built around the promise of "Always There, Always Care" and focuses on four key areas: service accessibility, quality assurance, customer relationship experience, and eco-digitalization.

Additionally, GAC is advancing initiatives through GAC Energy, aimed at enhancing the electric mobility ecosystem. Among these initiatives is a 120 kW DC fast charging station, equipped with a voltage output ranging from 200 to 1,000 V and CCS2 connectivity. This technology is presented as a potential asset to support the gradual development of charging infrastructure across Morocco, although no deployment details have been disclosed yet.

Looking ahead, GAC and M-AUTOMOTIV are committed to expanding their collaboration to broaden the offerings available to Moroccan motorists. The brand plans to introduce between three to six new models to the Moroccan market by 2027, a roadmap that reflects their motto "In Morocco, For Morocco," with the goal of becoming a trusted automotive brand in the Kingdom. "Morocco is an important market in GAC's international development. […] We also plan to introduce several models starting next year," highlighted Wayne Wei, GAC International representative.
