EasyJet Expands Bordeaux Connections with New Routes to Agadir, Málaga, and Exclusive Gran Canaria Flights

EasyJet Enhances Bordeaux Travel Options with New Destinations

In an exciting development for travelers in Morocco and beyond, EasyJet, the British low-cost airline, has recently expanded its flight offerings from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport by inaugurating three new routes between October 25 and October 28, 2026. The destinations include Agadir in Morocco, Málaga in Spain, and the Canary Islands' Gran Canaria, with each route scheduled to operate twice a week. Notably, the Gran Canaria route is being offered exclusively by EasyJet, marking a significant addition to their winter program aimed at leisure travelers.

The flight to Agadir, which commenced on Sunday, October 25, connects travelers to the beautiful beaches and surf spots along Morocco’s southern coastline. Scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays, the journey to Agadir-Al Massira takes approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes, making it a convenient option for those looking to escape to the sun.

Similarly, the flights to Málaga, which started on October 26, are designed for weekend getaways, operating on Mondays and Fridays with a flight duration of about 1 hour and 50 minutes. This route provides a perfect opportunity for travelers to enjoy a long weekend on the Costa del Sol, combining beach relaxation with cultural experiences in this vibrant Andalusian city.

Exclusive Flights to Gran Canaria

The new route to Gran Canaria, which began on October 28, offers direct flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays to Gran Canaria Airport (LPA), also known as Las Palmas. This exclusive service marks an important addition to EasyJet's offerings, providing year-round access to this stunning destination known for its unique volcanic landscapes and picturesque mountain villages. EasyJet's strategy to operate this route year-round significantly enhances the options available for holidaymakers looking to explore the Canary Islands from France.

All three destinations are being promoted with competitive pricing, starting at just 35 euros for a one-way ticket, inclusive of airport taxes and handling fees. However, travelers should be aware that additional charges may apply for baggage.

EasyJet has a long-standing presence in Bordeaux, having established its operations there in 2006 and opening its sixth French base in 2018. The airline continues to focus on expanding its regional network rather than just relying on the major Parisian airports. In its announcement for the autumn 2026 season, EasyJet emphasized its commitment to improving connectivity and enriching travel options from regional bases with the introduction of these new lines.

With 57 destinations in 20 countries being offered from Bordeaux, including significant increases in leisure travel routes to Morocco and Spain, the airport proudly supports EasyJet's expansion plans. The introduction of these direct flights not only boosts the local economy but also provides travelers with more accessible options for their holiday plans.

In addition to the new routes, EasyJet is promoting its easyJet holidays packages, which bundle flights with accommodation and include a 23 kg checked baggage allowance and hotel transfers for beach holiday stays. This combination of services, available with a deposit starting from 75 euros per person, reflects EasyJet's dedication to offering comprehensive travel solutions for their customers.
