Governor of Sheikhawa Province Inspects Development Projects in Mouzaoudia
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, Bouabid El Karab, the Governor of Sheikhawa Province, conducted a field visit to the Mouzaoudia community to assess the progress of several developmental projects and reconstruction efforts in the area. Accompanying him were the Head of the Sheikhawa District, the Mouzaoudia Commander's representative, and the regional director of the multi-service company. The visit aimed to monitor the ongoing initiatives that are vital for the local community's growth and well-being.
The delegation commenced their inspection by reviewing the status of a significant wastewater treatment project located in the center of the community. This project, which is being executed with an investment of around 13 million dirhams, is designed to establish a wastewater treatment plant and install pipelines to connect existing collection points. This initiative addresses the pressing issue of sanitation facilities near residential areas and aims to significantly enhance the local environment.
In addition to the wastewater treatment project, the tour included visits to the reconstruction sites of classrooms that were damaged during the Al-Haouz earthquake. The affected areas, specifically the Douars of Blaid Benbara and Moussa Ambarak under the Mouzaoudia leadership, were inspected to evaluate the progress of construction and rehabilitation efforts in the educational institutions involved. The governor's visit underscores the commitment to restoring educational infrastructure and ensuring a safe learning environment for students.
This inspection is part of a broader series of field visits aimed at closely monitoring the implementation stages of infrastructure projects and educational facilities within the province. Such initiatives highlight the ongoing efforts by local authorities to improve living conditions and support the development of vital community services in Sheikhawa.
