Join the Harvest Souk at Dar Bellarj in Marrakech

On October 31 and November 1, 2026, from 12 PM to 7 PM, the vibrant atmosphere of Dar Bellarj in Marrakech will come alive with the Harvest Souk, a key highlight of the Harvest Festival. This event is designed to celebrate and support local agricultural and artisanal products, all rooted in the rich cultural heritage of the region. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore an array of food items, crafts, and agricultural goods while engaging with cooperative initiatives that form the backbone of the local economy.

The Harvest Souk will feature notable participants like the Gifted Mothers and the speculative garden of Dar Bellarj, alongside other partner cooperatives from the High Atlas region. Attendees can look forward to unique offerings such as The Mothership Tangier, which will present seeds and plant dyes, and Figuig cooperatives, known for their date coffee and cosmetics. Additionally, the Siroua Project will be advocating for the conservation of the endangered Siroua sheep breed, highlighting the importance of biodiversity in Moroccan agriculture.

On Saturday at 6:30 PM, there will be a thought-provoking discussion focused on the transmission of knowledge related to these traditional practices. The event will culminate on Sunday evening at 7 PM with a lively closing concert featuring the talents of Tina Tornade and Sarah Mazigh, promising a memorable end to the Harvest Souk experience.
