Harvest Festival Marrakech 2026: A Celebration of Culture and Sustainability
Scheduled from October 28 to November 1, 2026, the Harvest Festival in Marrakech is set to celebrate its 11th edition. This vibrant event, organized by the Global Diversity Foundation, will connect multiple venues across the city, focusing on themes of earth, food, water, and the transmission of traditional crafts and knowledge. Emerging from the Cultural Landscapes program of the High Atlas, the festival views harvest as a metaphor for collective creation, bringing together artists, chefs, artisans, researchers, and cooperatives, operating in both Darija and English.
Festival Schedule and Highlights
The festival promises an exciting lineup of events that cater to diverse interests. The opening night on Wednesday, October 28, will take place at Um Mami in Sidi Ghanem from 7 PM to 10 PM, featuring a performative lecture by Sufra Archive on colonial agricultural archives, followed by a communal meal. On Thursday, the festivities continue at LE 18 in the medina, starting at 6 PM with a collective library and archive session, and a sound and visual proposal titled "Mirage" by resident artist Hiba Baddou at 7:30 PM.
